Bjerga, 36, who covers agricultural policy for Bloomberg News and grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota, will honored at the inaugural event themed Little Club on the Prairie, a tribute to the Midwest and Great Plains and Bjerga’s home state.

Festivities will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the band Honky Tonk Confidential, led by longtime NPC member Bob Schieffer, host of CBS News’ “Face the Nation.”
