Chuck Todd debuted as the 12th moderator of the nation’s longest running TV program Sunday. For his first “Meet the Press” Todd landed a one-on-one with Pres. Barack Obama.
The two discussed several national and international concerns for the U.S., including the threat of ISIS, the Ebola outbreak, and the optics of golfing after his statement on the beheading by ISIS of American journalist James Foley, among other topics.
At the start of the interview, Todd asked Obama whether he was preparing to go back to war to combat ISIS, with President Obama announcing a Wednesday speech on his game plan. Read more
