Hey, Isn’t That…

Kathy Griffin?  The kooky comic was spotted  at L2 on Friday night.  Griffin, who had just wrapped a performance at the Kennedy Center,  made a surprise appearance at the Georgetown club to wish CNN’s Jessica Yellin a happy 40th birthday and hang with her pals and parents-to-be, CNN’s John King and Dana Bash.  Other guests at Yellin’s birthday bash included NYT’s Jeff Zeleny, TIME’s Jay Newton-Small, Doug Heye, NRSC’s Brian Walsh, Jack and Susanna Quinn, Mark Cuban, Kimball Stroud, Treasury spokesman Mark Paustenbach, CNN’s Brianna Keilar, NYT’s Carl Hulse, HuffPo’s Peter Cherukuri and SKDK’s Emily Lenzner, NBC’s Savannah Guthrie and GPG’s Mike Feldman, NYT’s Mark Leibovich, NBC’s Betsy Fischer and Politico’s Jonathan Martin, W.H. CBS’ Guest List for Nerd Prom 2010

The White House Correspondents Association’s annual dinner is a month away but invitations are already making their rounds and A-list guests are being leaked. As usual, FishbowlDC will be all over it.

We already have the skinny on some of CBS’ guests for this year’s Nerd Prom. Attending with CBS this year are Rahm Emanuel, CBS TV stars Julianna Margolis and Chris O’Donnell, Senator Brown’s daughter, American Idol star Ayla Brown, Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Mayor Adrian Fenty and his wife Michelle, Congressman Eric Cantor and White House Deputy Social Secretary Ebs Burnough.

Some of the CBSers: Katie Couric, Harry Smith, chief White House correspondent Chip Reid, a very pregnant Maggie Rodriguez from the “Early Show” and Nancy Cordes from the DC bureau.

We also noticed Peter Orszag and Bianna Golodryga on the dance floor, enjoying Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “Crazy in Love,” which left us wondering… are they?
