<p><Li>The Toledo Blade <a href="http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070309/COLUMNIST37/703090329/-1/ART">reports</a> that <strong>Hakem Dermish </strong>&#8220;has been called up to the major leagues.&#8221; Dermish has been hired away from WTVG-TV, Channel 13 by WRC-TV in Washington.</p>
<p><Li>The Council on Foreign Relations announced the &#8220;short list&#8221; for the Arthur Ross Book Award. Check out the nominees <a href="http://www.cfr.org/publication/12809/council_announces_arthur_ross_award_short_list.html?breadcrumb=%2Fpublication%2Fby_type%2Fnews_release%3Fid%3D391">here</a>. The winners will be announced in early May and honored at a dinner in June at the Council&#8217;s office in New York.</p>
<p><Li>Eat The Press <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/eat-the-press/2007/03/09/stage-wright-his-trip-to_e_42942.html">has an interview</a> with <strong>Lawrence Wright</strong>, author of &#8220;The Looming Tower&#8221;, in which he calls the intelligence community &#8220;a disaster right now.&#8221;</p>
