Separated At Birth: Andrew Sullivan

Wednesday night was the concert to benefit victims of Super Storm Sandy. It was held at Madison Square Garden in NYC and featured several classic rock performers. Michael Stipe, from the now-defunct band R.E.M., took the stage with Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Stipe was sporting a salt and pepper beard that reminded Brad Phillips, aka Mr. Media Training, of someone else. He tweeted that with his new beard, Stipe resembled blogger Andrew Sullivan. Combine the burly beards with their bald heads and we think we found a pretty good Separated at Birth.

Weiner Whips Out His Twitter Account

More often than not we give the gossip columns around Washington grief for being so vanilla. But today we give a nod to Roll Call‘s HOH for writing about former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-SexyLawmaker) for breaking his 17-month Twitter silence for the sake of Hurricane Sandy’s rampage through his old congressional district. Though it was just a YouTube video, this is WEINER we’re talking about.

Could this be the start of a blossoming return to Twitter? HOH hopes so.
