Scripps, Advance Publications, McClatchy, Hearst Newspapers, MediaNews Group, the Associated Press, Philadelphia Media Holdings, Lee Enterprises and Freedom Communication Inc. is taking place in Chicago today.

The group is meeting about the future of the newspaper industry and how to charge for online access.
