Politico’s John Ward Anderson Takes Job With Podesta Group

john anderson.jpg In an e-mail to Politco staff entitled “Oh, no-bad news,” Poliitico Editor John Harris announces the news that Contributing Editor John Ward Anderson, a friend of 25 years, has taken a job with the Washington-based Podesta Group to “help them manage and expand their international business” and to “assist with media strategies.”

Ward came to Politico after 27 years at The Washington Post, reads his bio, where he started as night secretary in the press room and ended as the paper’s Paris bureau chief. In between, it adds, he worked as a researcher for Bob Woodward on the book, Wired: The Short Life & Fast Times of John Belushi.
