Washington journalists are routinely called out to Los Angeles to appear on HBO’s “Real Time” With Bill Maher. On tap this week is The Daily Caller‘s Jamie Weinstein, who has often appeared on FNC’s “Red Eye.” It’s Jamie’s virgin Maher experience. Let’s hope it’s a good one.

He’ll be on the panel with”Morning Joe” regular and Random House Exec. VP Jon Meacham and Democratic pundit Donna Brazile. Other guests are Joel McHale and Robert Zimmerman (brother of George).

Andrew Jackson first proposed doing away with the Electoral College after. Like another Tennessee president, he won the popular vote but lost. Something about my state. I don’t know what it is. We don’t do well, even though we win a lot of times.
