Hearts and Homes for Youth held their first annual Men’s Event at Taste Gastropub in Olney, Md. Thursday night. In case you were curious as to what a Gastropub is, imagine an Irish pub and an Italian Bistro blending worlds.

The event was a benefit for the organization. In attendance were celebs like Clinton Portis, a former Washinton Redskins football player, and Michael Andrews of Michael Andrews Bespoke. Actor Matthew Modine was also on the guest list, but had to cancel his flight to D.C. at the last minute due to a scheduling conflict involving a movie shoot. (Likely story, right?)  Kate Michael, a.k.a. “K Street Kate, was also there, as was the editor-in-chief of Bethesda Magazine, Steve Hull.
