Kastles Tennis mascot: Topspin

The famed White House Correspondents’ Brunch, held annually at the home Tammy Haddad and Ted Greenberg, is moving to a new locale on April 30, 2011.  Rather than torturing the fine folks of the Palisades with parking valets and  paparazzi, swarms of pastel-clad brunch-goers will migrate to Mark Ein‘s Georgetown manse for the garden gala. In addition to the revised location, the host committee has added Wendi Murdoch and Susan Axelrod as honorary event chairs.

As for the new venue, we don’t know much but we hear “Topspin” will be bouncing (ha! get it?) would-be crashers in the driveway and guests will be forced to enter and exit Ein’s home using Kastle Systems key fobs.  Okay, I made that up but a boy can dream…  Check out the video invite to this year’s event below.

Everyone from the Jonas Brothers, Gayle King and Chase Crawford to FNC White House correspondent Major Garrett, Roll Call’s Jackie Kucinich and Politico’s former Michaels – Yahoo’s Michael Calderone and HuffPo’s Michael Falcone came out for Tammy Haddad’s annual White House Correspondents brunch on Saturday.

The event and the day couldn’t have been a lovelier way to celebrate causes CURE – Epilepsy and Mother’s Day Every Day. Co-hosted by Ted Greenberg, Hilary Rosen, David Adler, Jim Courtovich, Alex Castellanos, Debra Lee, Steve McMahon and Franco Nuschese, the fete was called the “best yet” by many brunch-goers.

To name a few we saw… John King, Dana Bash, David Gregory, Luke Russert, Betsy Fischer, Mary Matalin, Ed Shultz, Maureen Orth, Jon Meacham, Savannah Guthrie, Arianna Huffington, Mika Brzezinski, Andrea Mitchell, Jeff Zeleny, Erin McPike, Patrick Gavin, Ana Marie Cox (who we overheard say she has more followers on Twitter than watch “Morning Joe”), and on and on…

Celebs-wise: Christian Slater, Val Kilmer, Chace Crawford, Matthew Settle, Matthew Modine and Tim Daly.

Also Captain Richard Phillips, Janet Napolitano and Todd Palin, being walked around by Fox’s Greta Van Susteren.

Honorary co-hosts Susan Axelrod and Ann Curry made some remarks and Haddad led the crowd in a mass “Happy Mother’s Day” Twitter.
