Sheriff Speaks Out on Salahi Abduction

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office just issued the below release in response to claims that Washington’s most exquisite beauty, Michaele Salahi, has been kidnapped and is being held against her will:

“The Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Mr. Tareq Salahi on Tuesday evening September 13, 2011 at 11:55 p.m.  Mr. Salahi advised us that he last heard from his wife about 6 hours ago.  He was concerned because she had contacted him from an Oregon area code and she was supposed to be back in Northern Virginia today.

Deputy Mike Glavis subsequently spoke with Mrs. Salahi by telephone a few moments later.   Deputy Glavis was able to identify Mrs. Salahi by having previous conversations with her in the past.  She seemed calm, was engaged in conversation, and assured the deputy that she had left the residence with a good friend and was where she wanted to be. Mrs. Salahi advised that she did not want Mr. Salahi to know where she was.

Mrs. Salahi advised Deputy Glavis that she was very sorry that the Sheriff’s Office had to be involved, but she did not want to be home right now.

Deputy Glavis made contact with Mr. Salahi and advised him that he had spoken with Mrs. Salahi and told him that she was fine.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are currently working together in an attempt to make additional contact with Mrs. Salahi to assure her well being.  We have been in contact with her friends and family.”

Michaele Salahi: Kidnapped?

Amber Platinum Alert: Michaele Salahi has been kidnapped!  Or so says her fame-whoring, pathological husband Tareq Salahi.  Although the ‘Real Housewife of DC’ has been in touch with both her hubby and local law enforcement, Tareq believes she’s being held against her will and was FORCED to make calls confirming her safety.  According to TMZ, Michaele left to get her hair did with a stolen credit card yesterday but never showed for her appointment and has been missing since.

As we understand it, WaPo’s Amy Argetsinger is Tareq’s top suspect.  Okay, that’s not true but we wish it was.

From TMZ:

Tareq has issued a statement saying, “We are reaching to the public pleaing [sic] desperately for your help.

It is our belief as of last night, that Michaele Salahi may have been kidnapped or abducted and being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities she is okay.

We are asking the public to please be on the look out for her, and if found please contact the authorities and please approach her and contact the authorities to intervene and that she may be forced to say she is okay, when in fact she is not and being held under possible abduction.

The Salahi family can be reached at 540-635-9933.”

We’re fairly certain Tareq’s kidnapping claims are bogus because a) he’s a no-talent assclown who will do anything to see his name in a headline b) any kidnapper would be rendered helpless if Michaele simply broke out her hot moves while singing her hit single “Bump It.” c) we’re not that lucky.

Tareq’s Tall Tales About WaPo

Sociopath Tareq Salahi recently opened his big yap for an interview with the Daily Beast’s Nicole LaPorte.  In the piece, Salahi slams the Washington Post and Amy Argetsinger who originally broke the story (along with Roxanne Roberts) of the fame-whoring couple’s White House crash,  telling LaPorte:

“First of all, they never really did a full disclosure, because we owed them tens of thousands of dollars in advertising money for our winery and the Polo Cup.  No. 2, you’ve got Amy Argetsinger dating a polo buddy of mine, who’s a competitor, fueling the fire. Obviously, we had issues with them, and they had issues with us. It was completely personal.”

Is it just me or is it a little far-fetched to believe:

a)  that a billion-dollar corporation coordinated stories against the Salahis as revenge for a $10,000 advertising debt?

b) that Argetsinger was allowed to settle personal scores (a fictional polo-fueled fury about her fictional polo-playing boyfriend) on the paper’s front page?

Better question: why are legitimate news organizations still writing about them and publishing their obvious tall tales?  To read the rest of the lies Salahi spewed to the Daily Beast, click here.

WH Crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi to Appear on Today Show

Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the couple who crashed the Obama administration’s first state dinner will talk to Matt Lauer live on NBC News’ “Today,” tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1. The interview will be done via satellite from the network’s Washington bureau.

Hmm…NBC’s Today over CNN’s Larry King Live? Note that Bravo is owned by NBC Universal which leads us to believe that her Housewives contract is signed and sealed.

DC Polo Fall Classic: Horses, Hats and Housewives… Oh Mya!

The Washington Times, DC 50, 93.9FM, NBC4, Washington Flyer, Washington Life and On Tap Magazine are just a few of the sponsors and partners of the The America’s Polo Cup DC Fall Classic. Held on the National Mall this Saturday, the event brought out horses, hats, [real] housewives and soon-to-be “Dancing with the Stars” diva, singer Mya.

Whispers and cameras were buzzing around a few flashy fashionistas – rumored to be cast members of DC’s “Real Housewives” series that was announced by Bravo earlier this year. See for yourself (more pics of the hush-hush housewives after the jump).
