Marty’d: The Chris Moody Edition

It’s been a while since we’ve checked in with Marty Rudolf, our favorite News Junkie Online. Day in and day out, Marty shares interesting stories and tries interacting with various tweeters about The News. Marty seems to have toned down his Twitter feed for the time being, by the way. Yahoo News Gets a New Look, Might Try To Take Over the World

Yahoo! News is rolling out a redesign this morning for U.S. that will update its look to match the new homepage that debuted a few months ago.

Overall the design is cleaner and simpler. Read more

Fantasyland…WaPo’s Alexandra Petri imagined what the lunch would have been like if she was there. Imagine lots of awkward banter and nervous laughter from Romney.

Others took the matter more seriously… Read more

Moody Pops the Question

Yahoo! News’ intrepid reporter, Chris Moody might finally be ready to settle down. Twitter broke the news Monday afternoon that he had asked his girlfriend to marry him. Several people tweeted congratulatory notes to Moody without him making an official announcement. Fellow Yahoo-er Olivier Knox prodded Moody to spread the news.

Moody made it official by tweeting:

We asked Moody if he was nervous carrying a ring through all those states… Read more
