TFT Hosts Fiscal New Year Event
The Fiscal Times celebrated the beginning of the fiscal new year by hosting a panel discussion at the National Press Club on October 1st. The panel discussion was hosted by Betsy Stark, former financial correspondent for ABC News; participants included Robert Reischauer (president of The Urban Institute) and TFT contributors Edmund Andrews, Liz Peek, Bruce Bartlett and Merrill Goozner. The panel focused on discussing the most compelling New Year “resolutions” that TFT solicited from prominent leaders in government, business, academia, science, technology and the arts.
