The Gridiron Club Welcomes Dickerson
For the first time in its 124-year existence, the Gridiron Club will welcome an online journalist, Slate’s John Dickerson, Politico and other outlets report today.
“I’m honored to have been asked,” Dickerson told Politico‘s Michael Calderone over email. “That I’m the first online journalist seems the inevitable result of the evolution of our business. I’ve been assured that this doesn’t mean what it does at my house: that I’ll now be in charge of tech support.”
Dickerson was with Time magazine before Slate and is also a CBS News political analyst and contributor.
