The Hill Hires CQ‘s Jay Heflin
The Hill‘s Hugo Gurdon welcomed Jay Heflin to the newsroom today. In an email to staff, Gurdon said:
“Jay was formerly at CQ and will be writing for us about tax, a subject to which he brings encyclopedic knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Having reported and written news stories about tax issues for years, and having been a tax accountant before that, Jay has developed a profound understanding of the fiscal details and is able to discern stories where others often miss them.”
