The Hill Steals After Party

The Washington Press Club Foundation Dinner’s After Party has traditionally been hosted by CQ. But this year, things are changing. The After Party on February 10 will be sponsored by The Hill, which will pay for the food and band. The entertainment will be Nobody’s Business — the 7-piece blues/rock band featuring McClatchy’s award-winning foreign correspondent Jonathan Landay. CQ-Roll Call will continue to be labeled as supporting the Pre-Party.

“We’re delighted that when the dinner ends the fun will continue at The Hill-sponsored after-party,” said Jim Kuhnhenn, Washington Press Foundation President and scribe at the AP Washington Bureau. “It’s a weeknight, but the chocolate will keep you awake. And so will ‘Nobody’s Business.’ Fresh from a Journopalooza gig last month, they’ve proved you’ve got to be a journalist to sing the funky blues.”
