The Hill’s Snyder Goes to Bloomberg

The Hill loses another reporter to Bloomberg. Just recently, reporter Jeff Young left the publication for Bloomberg. Now, it’s Business and Lobbying Editor Jim Snyder who has accepted a position with Bloomberg.

An internal memo from Editor Hugo Gurdon announces the news:

After seven years at The Hill, the great Jim Snyder has decided to move to pastures new – or anyway, to take on a new challenge. He has accepted a job offer from Bloomberg and will be leaving us in a couple of weeks. Jim is a fine reporter, a sardonic wit and a consistently calm presence in the newsroom. I am sorry to see him go, as I know you will be, too, but I am also grateful for his many years of work here. He has helped build our policy coverage and our Business & Lobbying section into the best in Washington. We will give him a good send-off. Thanks, Hugo
