The Morning Call’s Drobnyk to Rep. Carney’s Office

Josh Drobnyk, Washington correspondent for Tribune’s The Morning Call has landed a gig with Rep. Chris Carney (D-Pa.) Today is his last day at the paper.

Drobnyk announced that he was moving on via email this morning:

Friends in the fourth estate-

I’m off to begin a new career Monday, working on the other side of the divide for U.S. Rep. Chris Carney. It’s been a great three years covering politics down here for the Morning Call and working alongside a terrific crew of reporters. Been a lot of fun getting to know everyone.

The good news for the Pa. press corps is that the paper’s going to fill the job, so treat my successor well. And go easy on my new boss – he’s a terrific guy.

Today’s my last day at the paper.
