LOTUS NOTES PROBLEMS
About 3 a.m. The Washington Post email system was the victim of a SPAM attack. Central IT is working to clean out the thousands of emails clogging the Lotus Notes system.
Until this mass of SPAM is removed, Lotus Notes will be sluggish and email will take longer to open, send and file. You may also notice email arriving much later than usual, due to the volume of trash. If you are awaiting specific email messages on deadline, you may want to contact the sender and point them to a personal internet email account.
