This just in today from the White House Correspondents’ Association:
Helen Thomas has requested that her seat in the briefing room be used by the in-town print pooler on the rare days when she is absent.
And by a vote of 8 -to -0, the White House Correspondents’ Association board yesterday agreed to the arrangement. It takes effect immediately.
