“The Situation Room” To The Rescue!

    JACK CAFFERTY: What the Democrats are really hoping for is Chicago, 1968, all over again. Put it all of ’til August, go to Denver and go crazy.

    MARK HALPERIN: There’s only two ways to do this superdelegate convention. One is in “THE SITUATION ROOM,” and the other is as an MTV reality show.

    CAFFERTY: There you go.

    HALPERIN: If they don’t do one of those two, it’s going to fail.

    CAFFERTY: Voting with the superdelegates.

    BLITZER: I don’t know if we could get 800 people in “THE SITUATION ROOM” but we could get some locations. All right, guys, stand by. We’ll continue this conversation.
