Think You Can Get Accepted to Yale Summer School?

In July, Yale is offering two week-long courses: One on Book Publishing, another on Magazine Publishing. The theme for the workshops is “Leadership Strategies in a Time of Transition.” Workshop speakers have been chosen for their “flair” and “innovation.”

Sounds interesting. But it’s not cheap. The tuition fee is: $4995 includes course materials, most meals and dinner on three nights. Your on your own for housing, but deals are available such as $99 per night at the New Haven Hotel.

The number of participants is limited to 80. Admissions are rolling. The application process is  simple and includes a 6-8 sentence graph about yourself and three questions you’d like the sessions to answer.
