Thomas Edsall Chats With Hugh Hewitt

Former Washington Post senior political reporter Thomas Edsall was on Hugh Hewitt’s radio program this past Friday. He spoke of his reasons for leaving the Post:

The Post is basically, like all newspapers, cutting back. They had a buyout for people who were age 55 and older. I was just turning 65. The buyout was very attractive.

Edsall also discusses his political persuasion, fairness/bias in the media, the tone in the blogoshpere, etc. The entire interview can be found here.
