TNR Gets a New Managing Editor
Rachel Morris has been named Managing Editor of TNR, Editor Franklin Foer announced today.
About Morris: Until last week, Morris was the articles editor at the D.C. bureau of Mother Jones, Previously she was an editor at Washington Monthly and an assistant editor at Legal Affairs.
A native of New Zealand, Morris came to the U.S. on a Fulbright Scholarship in 2003 and has a Masters degree from Columbia.
Morris succeeds Richard Just, who was named executive editor following the departure of Peter Scoblic. Scoblic became a senior policy adviser to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in April.
