Today Is Scully’s Last Day!
WHCA Prez Steve Scully’s final board meeting is this afternoon and it is being held over at ABC. Scully invited the newly elected members to join those who are retiring.
It’s a good thing C-SPAN gave Scully a flexible work schedule because, during his year, running the WHCA has been a fulltime job — managing the briefing room renovations, completing a whole new corporate system for billing reporters for their WH travel, designing a new interactive website, and significantly expanding the scholarships awarded each year.
