Tribune’s Balt Sun Importing Halloran

We had a little MediaBistro Fishbowl D.C./TVNewser soiree last night here in D.C., and managed to pick up some random gossip.

Among it, congratulations are in order for Liz Halloran, the Hartford Courant’s talented D.C.-based media writer, who just got hired by the Baltimore Sun, a Tribune sister paper, to fill the empty media writer post left by David Folkenflik‘s jump to NPR late last year. She’ll start mid-April.

(A gold star to the first reader to point out the bitter-tasting Tribune-related pun in this post.)
