Two Scribes to Play in Tennis Tourney

Tennis Balls_small.jpg

The Hill‘s Managing Editor Bob Cusack and reporter Molly Hooper will be in Newport News, Va. this weekend for the U.S. Tennis Association mid-Atlantic championships. There are different levels of play. Cusack and Hooper are on separate teams and can’t play each other because she’s on the women’s team and he’s on the men’s team.

If a team wins this weekend, it advances to the national championships later this year in Arizona. Cusack’s team made it to Arizona last year, but didn’t win the national championship.

For his teammates’ sake, we hope Cusack wins. He’s not such a gracious loser when it comes to bowling and we suspect not tennis either.

Best of luck to both scribes!
