Vargas Scores POTUS Sit-Down
Word out this morning that ABC’s Elizabeth Vargas has scored an interview with President Bush for next Tuesday–the first major outlet to get one since Vice President Dick Cheney shot his hunting partner.
Meanwhile, Vargas’ co-anchor Bob Woodruff is continuing to recover outside Washington from his Iraq injuries and his cameraman Doug Vogt has been released to go back to Europe for further treatment.
