Wanna Guess an Ellie?

ellie.jpgThe National Magazine Awards are announced today at the Waldorf (that’s in New York), and as the NYT lays out today, they’re a big deal.

Anyone want to make some guesses? Which finalists will get the nod? Our nomination for most fun category is “General Excellence” in the 250,000 to 500,000 circulation range–where else will you ever see Details, Martha Stewart Weddings, and the Atlantic Monthly uttered in the same breath?

Then there’s always the question of the Chronicle of Higher Education: How’s a newspaper going to fare in the magazine awards?
