Warren Bass To Outlook

From the Post’s internal announcement:

Warren Bass will be joining the Outlook section as the deputy editor after two years as the nonfiction editor at Book World.

Warren will bring sophistication, crack editing chops and a voluminous rolodex to Outlook starting sometime later next month.
A member of the board of advisers of Foreign Affairs magazine, Warren served on the staff of the 9/11 Commission, has a PhD in history from Columbia University and is the author of a book about JFK’s Middle East policies. Given his former codeword security clearance, Warren is more likely than most to be the first to hear where Osama bin Laden has been hiding.

With Warren, we are looking forward to creating a section filled with the supremely relevant and decidedly irreverent, a section that spans continents and states and gets us beyond the Beltway — at least once a week. We are looking forward to having him!
