Washington Post Moves
We hear that The Washington Post’s New York bureau chief, Michael Powell, is going to report on the presidential campaign for the Style section. He’ll be part of a team that will include a TBA replacement for Mark Leibovich and David von Drehle. Powell will be based in New York. Word on the street is that associate editor Kevin Merida is likely to contribute to Style’s political coverage too. Powell + Merida = 2/3 of Style’s impressive political team of 2000, way back when Dana Milbank was also on board.
