Washington Reporter is Tokyo Bound

As we’ve reported, The Daily Caller‘s Jonathan Strong has taken a new job covering House leadership for Roll Call. But before he starts at the end of August, he’s headed to Tokyo for some R&R.

“My wife Anna Beth’s sister lives there with her husband, who is a Navy chaplain,” he explained. “They live near Tokyo. I’m sure we’ll see Mt. Fuji but I think the details are still evolving. They’re going to show us around. We’ll be there for nine days.”

In the meantime, his farewell letter to sources and colleagues….

Friends, colleagues, flacks and sources,

After having a blast at The Daily Caller for the past year and a half, I’m headed to Roll Call to cover the House. It’s been a pleasure working with all of you.

I’m starting at Roll Call Aug. 24 after a trip to Japan, so I don’t have my new work contact info yet. In the meantime, you can reach me at BLANK and BLANK.

Sincerely,

Jonathan
