Weekend Wrap: Running and Drinking Like a Sailor

Navy 5 Miler
The Bachelor’s Andy Baldwin, Mix 107.3′s Tommy McFly, Roll Call’s Jackie Kucinich, On Tap’s Ashley Estill, Glenn Ballard and I (Matt Dornic) were all up bright and early on Sunday morning to run the Navy 5 Miler. I won’t brag but facts are facts. I ran it the fastest. Okay…I have no idea how quickly Baldwin ran it but I beat Estill, Kucinich, McFly and Ballard.

Sou’Wester Opening
After an effortless 5 miles, FishbowlDC headed to the Mandarin Oriental for CityZen’s fifth anniversary and the birth of new restaurant Sou’Wester. Much of the night is a blur but the restaurant was beautiful. The food was fantastic. And the company…even better. We ran into Bloomberg’s Tim Burger, Politico’s Kiki Ryan, Mix 107.3′s Tommy McFly, Kelly DiNardo, Daily Candy’s Erin Hartigan, David Hagedorn, Examiner’s Jeff Dufour and Jayne Sandman.
