In making the announcement, Shine said, “General Clark’s extensive military experience and sharp insight make him a powerful addition to FOX News Channel.”
General Clark added, “I am excited by this opportunity to contribute to Fox News Channel’s coverage and offer my perspective to the important issues facing the United States and the global community.”

As Supreme Allied Commander, he commanded NATO forces during the war in Kosovo and won the war without a single allied combat death. From 1996-1997, General Clark served as Commanding General of the United States Southern Command, Panama, and from 1994 to 1996, he served as Director for Strategic Plans and Policy of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
