Politico‘s Mike Allen chats with ABC “This Week” host Christiane Amanpour on the debut of her show this Sunday in the publication’s “Turn the Table” video feature.
What themes will she be pushing?
“What I want to do is try to broaden the conversation to really take into the account not just the politics of what goes on in Washington inside the Beltway, but what about the policies that affect the people … and how they are implemented or not?” said Amanpour. She stressed that she wants to avoid the “he said, she said, left-right” conversation. She said the program will occasionally travel to big stories around the world.
