Why Washington D.C. Gossip Sucks

The Washington Examiner’s Nikki Schwab is on a roll this week. We already wrote about her bizarre tweet that African-American actress Gabrielle Union was “well spoken.” Sticky Nikki steps in it again with her latest “scoop” from Yeas and Nays. In it, she tells us that when FLOTUS appears at Barnes and Noble bookstore and, SHOCK, security is going to be tight. Here’s the rundown according to Schwab.

On book signing day June 12, we’re told that attendees must bring this receipt, the wristband and their ID to the store, wait in line — it’s first come, first served, with absolutely no cutting. Then they must go through Secret Service security and leave all cameras, cell phones and recording equipment downstairs to get one book, per person signed by the FLOTUS, with no personalization allowed. And, according to store personnel, all of this is subject to change.

Thanks for the breaking news. Wherever FLOTUS makes an appearance, the security will be tight. Nikki, your story is just one of the many reasons Why Washington D.C. Gossip Sucks.
