On Friday, the Washington Post’s Shailagh Murray overheard the following exchange in the Senate Press Gallery (Murray later emailed the WaPo’s political reporters about it, a copy of which was forwarded to FishbowlDC):
World-famous journalist: “Hi, I’m Bob Woodward and I’m here to get my press credentials.” Summer intern working the desk: “Sir, what publication are you with?”
