XM Tops 3.2M Subscribers

DCRTV points us to XM’s announcement today that the Florida Avenue-based satellite radio service added 1.8 million net subscribers in 2004, an increase of 137 percent over 2003, and finished the year with 3,229,124 subscribers–above its target projections.

The good news? It’s making more money. The bad news? It’s losing more money too. We wish our bank allowed us to operate like that and still deem the year “outstanding.”
