Y&N’s Katy Adams Toasted at Teatro
Vino flowed for Katy Adams at Teatro Goldoni on Friday evening. The newest writer to take the reins of the Examiner‘s “Yeas and Nays” column was celebrated by nearly two dozen media types with a lovely three-course dinner hosted by Janet Donovan. In attendance were WBJ‘s Jennifer Nycz-Conner, Hisaoka Communications’ Wendy Gordon, Nick Massella, Brendan Kownacki, Human Events editor Emily Miller, Roz Plater and Maureen Ume of Fox 5, Roll Call‘s Beth Brotherton and Ali McSherry, Examiner’s Jacque Bland, Mary Bird, Amy McLean of CTIA and of course, Katy’s partner in crime – Nikki Schwab.
The hot topics: Glenn Beck’s weekend rally (Schwab and Miller hashed it out), Donovan’s consumer electronics woes (TiVo, DVD TV setup), and Nikki Schwab’s new “do,” as in hairdo – Schwab treated herself to a little makeover at the Red Door Salon that day.
