You’re Fired

It’s getting hot in heerre…

News breaking this afternoon that the CIA has fired one of it’s officers for leaking information about the Eastern European secret prisons to the Washington Post’s Dana Priest (who has been swimming in the journalism awards as a result). Priest chose not to comment on the firing.

It should also be noted that the CIA is investigating the leaking of information regarding domestic eavesdropping to the New York Times’ James Risen, who also won a Pulitzer for his coverage.

So are indictments and investigations the new party favor for Pulitzers?
