Professional Experience

I’m a freelance writer for a variety of lifestyle publications. I’m the DC/MD/VA correspondent for The Knot and copy editor for The Scout Guide‘s 60-some city publications. I spend my days freelancing for a host of regional and national publications. I have written about my travels for Southern Living and Forbes Travel Guide, the state of the organic industry for Delicious Living, leading restaurant professionals for Plate Magazine, and my extroversion and inner cat lady for Hello Giggles. I also have kvetched about my struggles as a young female journalist for Cosmopolitan, and done a handful of gear reviews for Ski magazine. For a year and a half, I wrote a weekly restaurant review column for the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
