If you haven’t seen it by now, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan had the dunk of the year Sunday night vs. Brandon Knight and the Detroit Pistons.

You can never have too much funny on the Internet, right?

Well, comedian Sarah Silverman, actor Michael Cera, the sketch duo of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim and rap-comic Reggie Watts are the masterminds behind a new YouTube channel named JASH.

OK, so the actual name of the channel isn’t that funny, which stands for “Just Attitude So Hey.” But the content should be funnier if you’re into experimental comedy.

“We each have pages within Jash, and we each can curate those pages,” Silverman told The Hollywood Reporter at SXSW on Sunday. “This is what we think is funny. It may not be your cup of tea, but there’s no testing involved, there’s no second-guessing of what a 14-year-old boy would like. It’s just a place to do stuff and fail or not fail.”

Producers Daniel Kellison (Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Doug DeLuca (The Man Show) and Mickey Meyer (Epic Rap Battles of History) are also involved in the project.

The Los Angeles Kings were the kings of the town in 2012, according to the L.A. Sports Council. The non-profit organization named the Kings winning their first Stanley Cup as the top sports moment last year over the weekend.

Prime Ticket will air the award show on Sunday, March 10 at 9:30, which are presented annually to celebrate the greatest sports moments of the year in Los Angeles and Orange County.

1. Kings Win the Cup (June 11): The Kings beat New Jersey in six games to win their first Stanley Cup.

2. Galaxy Win MLS Cup (December 1): The Galaxy defeated Houston, 3-1, at the Home Depot Center to win its second consecutive Major League Soccer championship.

Before Sunday’s Lakers-Mavericks game, Dallas owner Mark Cuban suggested that Los Angeles should use their amnesty clause (fancy way of saying release) on Kobe Bryant in the offseason.

Kobe Bryant being Kobe Bryant, took Cuban’s comments to heart and carried the Lakers on his back in a 103-99 victory with 38 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.

If that wasn’t bad enough for Cuban to swallow, Bryant tweeted the following after the game:

It’s been quite the emotional week for the Los Angeles Lakers family following the death of owner Dr. Jerry Buss.

Returning to the court for the first time since his death on Monday, the Lakers paid tribute to Buss prior to Wednesday’s game vs. the Boston Celtics.

The NBA scheduling Gods delivered as the Lakers-Celtics game was on ESPN, which meant Magic Johnson was able to reflect throughout the night on the impact Buss had on his life in the 30-plus years since he was drafted from Michigan State.

To Johnson, Buss was not just an owner. He was a friend and mentor who Johnson would routinely call for advice. You can truly get the sense how important Buss was to Johnson by his reaction following Kobe Bryant‘s speech to the crowd.

When public address announcer David Courtney tragically died in November, it left a void across three major professional teams in town — the Los Angeles Clippers, Angels and Kings.

Other than play-by-play announcer Bob Miller, Courtney’s voice was what radiated with Kings fans whenever they stepped inside Staples Center.

Needless to say, whoever replaced Courtney would have big shoes to fill.

Enter Dave Joseph.

The ESPN 710AM anchor spent the last 12 seasons covering the Kings for the radio station and was Courtney’s backup and protégé. Because of Joseph’s close relationship with Courtney, it put him in a tough spot after accepting the job as the new PA announcer.

One of Howard Stern‘s loyal listeners pulled a fast one on CBS/KCAL 9 during the middle of their coverage on the Christopher Dorner standoff.

UPDATE: Romenesko points out that Captain Janks, a regular caller on the Howard Stern show, is taking credit for the prank call.

KCAL 9 reporter Carter Evans found himself in the middle of gunfire Tuesday afternoon while reporting on the Christopher Dorner standoff in Big Bear.

Officers reportedly spotted Dorner and above is the chilling exchange of bullets, along with Carter (who luckily wasn’t injured) getting chewed out by an LAPD officer.

Just another Tuesday in Southern California.

Storage Wars regular Mark Balelo committed suicide on Monday by way of carbon monoxide poisoning, according to TMZ. The Southern California resident was reportedly arrested over the weekend for a drug-related offense.

That’s where the story took a tragic turn. From TMZ:

We’re told when Balelo got out of jail he was distraught, and asked his fiancée to come over because he was afraid he might hurt himself.

We’re told they met at his office on Sunday, they talked for a few hours, he took a 4 hour nap — and when he woke up seemed better.

The fiancée left Balelo at the office Sunday evening. We’re told one of Balelo’s employees found his body Monday morning.

Former UCLA legend Bill Walton is an acquired taste when it comes to his broadcasting career.

Some find his broadcast style to be grandiose while others (like myself) think he’s a breath of fresh air who isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

For example, Walton didn’t hold back during Thursday’s ESPN broadcast of UCLA vs. Washington. Attendance at Pauley Pavilion was sparse to say the very least and Walton pointed the finger directly at Bruins head coach Ben Howland.

Walton: “Better style.”

Pasch: “Alright, so, is that the coach? Is that the players?”
