If you’re ready to kick you career into high gear, the National Hot Rod Association needs you. The organization is looking for a new director of public relations to join its Glendora team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating innovative press campaigns that can help elevate exposure for the drag racing body. You’ll pitch local and national outlets on 22 national events, including the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and the NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series. NHRA owns and operates five racing facilities around the country for which you’ll also maintain media relations.
To land this gig, you’ll need five or more years of PR experience, preferably in a motorsports environment. You should be able to work independently to develop creative ideas, and be able to communicate your programs with all levels of management, external track officials, sponsors, drivers and team PR representatives.
