According to the LAT, when Howard Stern moves to Sirius Satelite Radio, his syndicated Infinity Broadcasting show will be taken over by ‘Loveline’ co-host Adam Carolla here in LA, and in NYC, wait for it, David Lee Roth (who has apparently been doing a radio show in Boston for a while now). At least that’s what Stern announced on the air yesterday. Infinity did not comment on any Stern-related moves.
Anyway, Adam Carolla is becoming one of the most quietly ubiquitous media figures in the entire country. Seriously, the guy is everywhere. (Okay, by ‘everywhere’ I mean ‘Loveline’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and every show on Comedy Central.) I’m surprised there hasn’t yet been an overreaching New York Times Magazine piece about Adam Carolla being the new face of pop-culture masculinity. Or has there? I’ve missed a couple issues.
