CNN Seeks West Coast Assignment Manager

Calling all newshounds! CNN is looking for a new regional assignment manager for the West Coast to help with breaking news coverage and story development from the network’s Los Angeles office.

In this role, you’ll handle editorial, logistics, special productions and regional spot news coverage, while managing news events and affiliate relationships in regional bureau cities (Chicago and San Francisco). You’ll also be responsible for coordinating with the National Desk on news in the West/Midwest Region of the U.S. for which this division is responsible.

To be considered, you’ll need 7-10 years of experience in journalism or a news environment, plus five or more years in a managerial role. Previous newsroom experience is another must-have.
