CRAFT Magazine Done With Print

craft.jpgSebastopol, California-based CRAFT magazine has announced that it will cease the print edition of the magazine. We’re surprised, because CRAFT is a popular niche publication, and saddened because this was the magazine that weaned us off of Martha Stewart Living. The magazine’s website explains the decision:

All along, we have noticed that Craftzine.com has been growing steadily. At the same time, we’ve come to realize that there were more and more challenges in publishing CRAFT as a print magazine, especially with the costs of print and distribution rising, and diminishing interest among advertisers in print.

Craftzine.com, the magazine’s website, is a great resource, and we’re happy it will be sticking around.
