My old pal Ian Mohr at Variety‘s Gotham office has a piece today about the latest JT Leroy fracas: With a bigscreen adaptation of “Leroy’s” “The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things,” from Asia Argento opening next week, Ian reports that The Weintstein Company is now preparing another film – about the LeRoy hoax – based on articles by The New York Times‘ Warren St. John.

Full disclosure: We plan to make a movie about the making of that movie. Who wouldn’t?
