Exclusive – LA Weekly Editor Hospitalized
On Tuesday, not long after meeting with self-proclaimed “asshole-in-charge” Mike Lacey, LA Weekly‘s editor-in-chief Drex Heikes suffered a heart arrhythmia. While Heikes had to be hospitalized, we hear he’s in good condition. At least his head didn’t explode, Mike Lacey can have that effect on people.
Heikes is still in the hospital having tests done, but we’ve been assured by LAW publisher Beth Sestanovich that he’s doing well. “He’s got his lap top and he’s editing away,” she says.
