FBLA Exclusive: Village Voice Media Launching National Blogs

nti_header.gifWe got a tip that Village Voice Media is going to launch four national blogs.

Bill Jensen, described as ‘the internet top guy’ at VVM confirmed the tip. “They won’t be under the Village Voice URL.” Jensen explained. There has already been a soft launch for two of these sites, ToplessRobot.com (boy geek news) and HeartlessDoll.com (grrl geek news).

It should be noted that Nikki Finke‘s Deadline Hollywood Daily went ‘national’ organically. That site is owned by Finke – promoted and assisted by VVM. The other sites are being built from scratch.

When asked if Finke’s site was included in the four blogs being launched, Jensen said, “There’s more to come.”

The other confirmed blog is Joystick Division. There’s also a rumored True Crime Blog.
