Yep. When asked what the biggest media event of the year was – or which one they actually cared about…very few of you said the Oscars. Apparently the glamor and spark of a bi-racial, south paw raised by a single mother being sworn in as the leader of the free world trumps a night of the movie industry successfully legitimizing themselves through who they wear and who they thank.
